Privacy Policy
Last updated April 24, 2026
This site (marcusbellringer.com) is operated by Marcus Bell and Bellringer Productions (“Marcus Bell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and run the site. The categories below cover everything we hold:
- Information you give us directly— your name, email address, organisation, and any details you include when you submit the contact form, request a press kit, or sign up for the newsletter.
- Newsletter subscriber data— when you join the mailing list we store your email and the date you subscribed so we can send you the content you signed up for.
- Usage and device data— standard server logs (IP address, browser, referring URL, pages viewed) and any analytics data our hosting provider records to keep the site secure and performant.
2. How we use your information
We use the information above for the following purposes only:
- To respond to inquiries about speaking, press, partnerships, or investment.
- To send the newsletter and related updates you opted into.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Service providers we rely on
We use a small set of trusted vendors to run the site. These providers process limited data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments:
- Vercel— hosting, deployment, and basic request logs.
- Resend— transactional email delivery for contact-form replies and newsletter confirmations.
- ConvertKit— newsletter list management.
4. Cookies and analytics
The site uses minimal cookies that are strictly necessary to operate. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful; analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
5. Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions and newsletter records only as long as we have a reason to — usually until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe. Server logs roll off on a short cycle set by our hosting provider.
6. Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link at the bottom of every email. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local regulator.
To exercise any of these rights, email bellringermusic@gmail.com.
7. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the US and other jurisdictions. By using the site you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or via email where appropriate.
